 Inter
Cheadle 0, Great Moor County B 3
Stockport Metro League
Division One, Sunday, November 18th, 2007
Inter put in another anaemic performance to carry on from where they left off last week at Bollington and surrender the points in a game they should have won.
In a close first half in appalling weather conditions, Great Moor dealt with the swirling wind and rain much better and looked hungry for the win, a mixture of good fortune and good goalkeeping from Flynn kept the scores goalless going into half time.
It was the same story after the break as Great Moor sensed that Inter were there for the taking and it was no surprise when they took the lead midway through the second half with a well-taken goal.
Pushing for a way back into the game saw the Inter defence left exposed and it was soon 2-0 as Great Moor caused Cheadle all sorts of problems on the breakaway.
To wrap things up in the dying minutes, Great Moor grabbed a deserved third to match the success of the A team's visit to Inter.
A big improvement will be needed next week when Great Moor B return - otherwise it could be the end of the cup run!
