Inter recovered from a nightmare start to finally clinch their first home league win of the season.

Almost immediately from the kick off Vikings capitalised on slip up at the back to grab an early lead.

But to the home side's credit they did not let their heads drop and took control of the game, grabbing a deserved equaliser midway through the half with a header from Paul.

Vikings almost snatched the lead back again though when the ball fortunately pinged off Flynn's right hand post, then onto his leg, back onto the post and finally away to safety to send the teams in at half time level.

The second half saw more Cheadle pressure and it paid off when Kay finished superbly. Vikings always looked a threat as Inter pushed to kill the game off and both sides saw chances to score go begging or excellently saved as both 'keepers were on top form.

The killer goal finally came in the last minute when Brandon slotted home to give Cheadle the points.
