Stockport Vikings A 5, Inter Cheadle 2

Inter were unable to repeat their cup exploits against a strong Vikings side eager to avenge their 3-1 defeat at Cheadle earlier in the season.

The home side took an early lead and Cheadle struggled to get into the game as basic errors crept into their play and it was soon 2-0 as Vikings dominated the midfield.

Inter feared a rout as the third went in but they rolled their sleeves up and got themselves back in the game with ten minutes left with two quick strikes from Dan W as the home side appeared to be wilting.

The big comeback wasn't on this time however through as Inter's efforts to grab an equaliser left them exposed at the back and Vikings were able to grab two breakaway strikes to make the game safe and put a fair reflection on the scoreline.
