Inter Cheadle Junior Football Club was formed in July 2007. The formation of the club was a decision of the managers to form a club that puts the children playing football for the teams first and foremost. All our managers, coaches and the central committee are volunteers dedicated to providing a platform for young people to play, learn and ultimately enjoy football.
Our aim as a Club is to provide a safe, accepting, yet stimulating and supportive environment where children and young people are helped in the development of their educational, social and life skills. To this end, the majority of our coaching staff are fully accredited F.A. coaches and place child protection as their highest goal. The club places strong emphasis on youth development and provides a “ladder of football” enabling children to play through their various age groups. The Club wants to give the best opportunity to children in its locality to participate in a sport that we all enjoy. Our Club status allows our youth teams to play at the highest level locally, and all our sides play in the Stockport Metro League.
We currently run teams at under 8, under 9, under 10, under 11, under 12, under 13, under 14 and under 15 age groups. Inter Cheadle also run a soccer school for children in school years 1 and 2. You can find out more information about thesehere.
