Inter Cheadle J.F.C. was formed in June 2007 and is run by FA Qualified Coaches and enthusiastic parents offering coaching for children at all age groups. Since its inception, Inter Cheadle J.F.C. has continued to prosper and now hosts some seventeen squads from U8’s through to U19’s and has a thriving soccer school for children in school years 1, 2 and 3.
Through the commitment and passion of our local volunteers, in June 2010 the Club achieved the FA Charter Standard Award. The Charter Standard Scheme is the best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it improves the playing experience for all.
Inter Cheadle J.F.C is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for young children and youths to participate in Association Football.
Our priority is to provide a platform for young people to play, learn and ultimately enjoy football. We place strong emphasis on youth development and provide a “ladder of football” enabling children to play through their various age groups. The Club is committed to ensuring that the player is central to all developmental needs and aspirations, to providing quality experiences for all players and we are committed to follow FA guidelines about Child Protection best practice. Inter Cheadle J.F.C. aim to give the best opportunity to children in its locality to participate in a sport that we all enjoy.
Via our website you can follow our junior teams and keep up-to-date with the latest Club news and fixtures. Contact details for the Team Managers and Club Committee are published under the ‘Contact’ page.

We are grateful to those who dedicate their time, energy and enthusiasm to the Club but would also welcome new people and new ideas. Volunteers are the lifeblood of any local community junior football club and Inter Cheadle J.F.C. welcomes any interest from adults who feel able to assist in the running of the club, be it in a coaching capacity with one of the teams, or administrative capacity, helping with things such as fund-raising or other administrative functions of the club. We can provide/arrange training courses in football coaching, first aid, child welfare etc, through The Cheshire Football Association. If you are interested in becoming more involved with Inter Cheadle J.F.C. then please contact us.
The Soccer School is currently aimed at children in schools years 1, 2 and 3. This initially involves some fun and enjoyable basic training sessions where children can learn new skills and build their confidence within team work.
The main object being to Have Fun!
Once in school year 3, the aim is to get them involved in playing within a mini soccer friendly league as U8’s (although this is dependent on league availability and coaching volunteers) and eventually representing the Club from U9’s in the Stockport Metro Junior Football League where, as well as a weekly training session they will be involved in weekly competitive football matches.
